The MusicNow Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the support of live music to engage, enrich, and educate youth through musical workshops, programs, lessons, mentorships and performance opportunities making music accessible to all.

Nightingale's Acoustic Café, a charming acoustic music café, is home to the MusicNow Foundation, Inc., located on Lyme Street in Old Lyme, CT.
Serving up the best in live, local and homegrown talent, Nightingale's has been attributed to many performance “firsts” of young teens and adults building confidence, talent, and opportunities. We serve as a springboard for future artistic development though our diverse programs.

Nightingale's is a collaboration of husband and wife team Dan and Gail Stevens. Together, the pair bring a passion for music, atmosphere and community that will warm your heart and feed your soul as you enjoy a treat in the quaint, historic village of Old Lyme, Connecticut.

Full time blues musician "Ramblin" Dan Stevens has entertained audiences throughout the US, Germany, UK, Canada and Virgin Islands. His unique style includes use of a homemade, three stringed "Cigar Box Guitar" and one stringed "Diddly Bow", both primitive blues instruments. Both are for sale at Nightingale's. A finalist in the International Blues Challenge on Beale St. in Memphis TN and protégé of the legendary Dave Van Ronk.

For the last 20 years Gail has specialized in non-profit development, including grant writing, marketing and event planning. Her diverse work history includes 20 years with American Airlines, plus event planning for the NFL's Super Bowls and Pro-Bowls in New York.
