Lisa Aranci and Skylark

Lisa Aranci, a lifelong musician, lives by the motto "Be Inspired by Everything." As a singer/songwriter, she finds inspiration all around her, and tries to make her music representative of herself and her experiences. She finds sharing music in the special moments of people's lives wonderfully fulfilling and hopes that her audiences will  FEEL connection, inspiration, and enjoyment while listening. For this performance Aranci is joined by Allan Michaels and Robert Codio to form the trio Skylark. Michaels has played bass since 1985 with  groups including 5150 of BerkeleyCalifornia and Impossible Reflex of Middletown Connecticut. Musically he has been most influenced by fellow bassists Ray Brown and Bob Turek.  His musical interests and experiences include Punk, Rock, Pop and Jazz.
