On Saturday night February 4, 2023, folk singer/songwriter Paul Loether returns for his third solo appearance at Nightingales Acoustic Café, 68 Lyme Street, in Old Lyme, CT from 7-9 PM. (Admission $10 per person; reservations recommended).
Paul’s music features expressive vocals complimented adept, Elizabeth Cotton-style finger picking. He covers of a wide range of traditional and contemporary folk artists—from Stephen Foster, Pete Seeger, Phil Ochs, and Tom Paxton, to Bill Staines, Nanci Griffith, John McCutcheon, Dave Mallett, and Carrie Newcomer. His usually topical originals feature clever, well-crafted, and often humorous lyrics.
