Do you love coffee, dessert and making people smile? We are looking for 1-2 Part Time Café staff to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, baked goods and light lunch foods. Current possible shifts include Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10 am to 5 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am - 3 pm. With additional help, we are hoping to open earlier in the day. Also willing to consider 1/2 day shifts.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers as they enter
Take orders while paying attention to details
Prepare beverages including espresso drinks, smoothies and milkshakes
Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, bagels, muffins, soups, sandwiches
Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
Keep the area clean
Comply with health and safety regulations
Remove recycling and trash

We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization working to recover from being closed for an entire year. In addition to café duties, there may be opportunities to learn about running a small business, nonprofit work including marketing, and about the music business.
This position requires standing on your feet for multiple hours and requires candidates to be able to lift 15+ lbs.
